Project objectives —
For more than 150 years, independent law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth has worked with clients as true partners in their business. Their expertise brings insight, innovation and agility for client success on a global level.

Progressive by nature, Corrs wanted to introduce a new type of project and contract-driven legal service to Australia that would deliver flexible service, high quality legal talent and cost-effective results for its clients.

To help create and launch the brand for this new service, we researched the behaviours and needs of the service’s stakeholders to ensure strong engagement of the new brand.

Our positioning strategy focussed the brand as premium pioneers - the first of its kind in Australia - leading the way with a fresh approach to working with and engaging a top legal firm. We defined this people-centric, adaptive approach as its key differentiator in establishing a strong brand to appeal primarily to top legal talent and then to clients – a critical step in outdistancing future competition.

The name Orbit reflects the quality, flexibility and modern way of working with both talent and clients.
Visually, this is demonstrated in the brandmark, the circular icon a symbol of centricity, expansiveness and unity.
