Crafting a purposeful brand
The Good Give
Local zero waste gift box service The Good Give came about in 2020, when founder MJ wanted to send thoughtful, mood boosting gifts to her friends. During her gift searches, she was overwhelmed with the amount of single-use plastics and unnecessary packaging destined for landfill.
Rather than add to this environmental problem, MJ knew there had to be a better way to share the joy without compromising the planet – or costing the earth. A woman on a mission, MJ began to curate and create her own feel good, zero waste gifts at an affordable price.
With her start-up growing quickly, MJ wanted her vision for a vibrant and high-quality brand to be perfectly aligned. She sought Kinc’s expertise for brand strategy, brand identity and packaging.

Our brief was to elevate The Good Give’s branding and marketing efforts by refining and cementing its positioning, establishing clear key messages and enhancing its visual identity. We developed a framework that was anchored to the brand purpose of sharing happiness and inspiring environmentally friendly choices.
Brand Creation
Abandoning the minimalistic, no-frills approach usually reserved for eco-friendly products, we embraced a colourful, energetic and personal approach to crafting The Good Give’s identity and messaging.
Our goal was to express the brand’s friendly, inspiring and thoughtful personality in a way that felt fresh and fun. Leaning into the sentiment of gift giving, we created a brand identity with personal hand-drawn touches, joyful colours and playful messaging.
